INVENTIVE CRAFTSMAN

The owners’ love for the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright guided the forms and details used in this new house which will have four bedrooms, two of which will be on a partial second floor. Deed restrictions govern the amount of masonry, in this case stone, to be used on the exterior. Additional masonry use on the fireplace, on the kitchen backsplash, and at the entrance, help connect the inside with the outside. Strategic window and door placements provide axial views through the house. A row of clerestory windows let light in to filter across the trusses of the great room.
