drawing of proposed home

Previous iterations of designs for this West U property include a totally new, very modern stucco and stone house and an addition to the current bungalow on the property. Seeking the right solution for the neighborhood and the family as well, the owners now have settled on a more traditional exterior design to fit into the neighborhood. The interior however, will be clean and modern.

At the heart of the house, a high space connects the first and second floors and brings light into the center of the house. One passes through this space when entering the house from the garage, when moving between the dining room and the kitchen, and when going upstairs or down.

The living room is at the back of this house, open to the back yard via an operable exterior glass wall. An old oak tree shades the back yard and a new pool.
